Blooma is the leading AI-powered digital underwriting platform for commercial real estate lending. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to direct product development and ensure high return on investment. You’ll translate ideas into user stories and execute the product roadmap.

This is a high-profile role working in a fast-paced environment and demands a dynamic individual with great communications skills, acumen and the ability to assimilate lots of information quickly. We are looking for a strong candidate with proven experience in SaaS B2B products, along with specific subject matter expertise in commercial real estate, banking, prop tech, or other fintech.

Responsibilities 
  • Document requirements and write user epics and stories
  • Maintain and groom backlog
  • Help define product strategy and competitive positioning
  • Work with management and key stakeholders to understand objectives & key problems, and transform them into product roadmaps, business and functional requirements, as well as technical specifications
  • Have a high degree of creativity and innovation with a proven track record in working on complex projects
  • Drive product and feature development through the agile scrum process
  • Understand and practice product management best practices by evaluating each new product feature for usability, simplicity, maintainability, and ROI

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of software (SaaS/B2B) Product Management experience is a MUST
  • Background in at least one of the following a strong advantage: banking, financial services, credit analysis, asset management, commercial real estate
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent SaaS products
  • Experience with agile, requirements, and scrum tools (JIRA)
  • Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, use cases, user stories, and producing clear and concise documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
  • History of leveraging product adoption data and/or customer insights to drive strong product adoption

    Product Support Engineer

    Location: San Diego, CA or Austin, TX

    Blooma is an extremely fast-growing and well-funded SaaS company that develops AI driven solutions for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending

    We are currently seeking a talented Product Support Engineer to join our busy Technical Operations Team. You will be part of a young and exciting company that is recognized as a market leader in the SaaS space with our Industry. You will work closely with Product support, Development and QA teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, as well as write scripts to interface with our internal micro services in order to import client data during onboarding. The successful candidate will need to learn and adapt quickly, be persistent and demonstrate “out of the box” thinking. This is a full-time position with possibility for on-call responsibilities for evening coverage.

    Responsibilities 
    • Provide technical support covering all issues related to the Blooma software and API integrations
    • Write scripts to connect to existing micro services in order to insert, update, or delete client data during client onboarding
    • Learn everything about our software and use that knowledge to troubleshoot technical issues
    • Troubleshoot critical production issues affecting end-users, including system unavailability, data integrity issues, and software bugs identification
    • Handle inquiries regarding all technical issues, information requests on application capabilities, business rules, and configuration
    • Provide coordinated support for getting new releases and configuration changes into production
    • Gather information for analysis, carry out the necessary research, setup test environments, replicate issues locally and propose resolutions or workarounds
    • Document new processes and keep existing documentation and tools up to date as the environment changes
    • Interface with engineering, product management and professional services when necessary
    Required Experience
    • A self-motivated, self-described “techie”, eager to learn new software
    • Exposure to Object oriented programming, basic web programming concepts
    • Knowledge of Java to be able to review and troubleshoot code
    • Computer or Software administration / development
    • Experience with databases, NoSQL (Mongo) and SQL with ability to write queries
    • Understanding of HTML, XML, JSON
    • Experience in AWS (DevOps)
    • Ability to diagnose and use industry standard tools and techniques to assure the application performs to client expectations

      CRE Data Analyst

      The CRE Data Analyst is responsible for verifying the quality of data in the Blooma platform to benefit our customers. This includes market data automatically collected from multiple external sources, as well as data parsed from user provided documents, using AI models. 

      This is an entry level position for candidates with some knowledge or experience in commercial real estate (ideally with underwriting or analysis background) and a passion for technology, and offers a great opportunity for a career in a fast-growing startup with many opportunities for growth.

            Blooma is looking for a Sales Engineer to work closely with Blooma’s sales, customer experience and product teams to help drive success and growth across our customers. The Sales Engineer will understand the key business challenges of our customers, engage with senior business and technology leaders at large enterprises, provide value-based demonstrations, and craft solutions and strategies to make clients more effective and efficient. Our Sales Engineers are tightly aligned with Blooma’s sales team and committed to superior customer service while achieving new client and revenue goals.

            • Present Blooma platform to commercial real estate executives and professionals
            • Guide the qualification and discovery process during the sales cycle

            Qualifications
