Lead UX/UI Designer

Location: San Diego, CA

The Lead UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing a friction-free, inspirational and overall delightful user experiences in our product. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UX/UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. This is a high-profile role working in a fast-paced environment and demands a dynamic individual with great communications skills, acumen and the ability to assimilate lots of information quickly.


  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Work with engineering to endure that the designs were implemented as intended
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to stakeholders
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Deliver high quality of work, while running multiple projects at once, working independently under tight timelines


  • 5+ years of proven UX/UI experience
  • Demonstrable UX/UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps
  • Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools
  • 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping. Angular a strong plus
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed
  • Solid team player

    The CRE Data Analyst is responsible for verifying the quality of data in the Blooma platform to benefit our customers. This includes market data automatically collected from multiple external sources, as well as data parsed from user provided documents, using AI models. 

    This is an entry level position for candidates with some knowledge or experience in commercial real estate (ideally with underwriting or analysis background) and a passion for technology, and offers a great opportunity for a career in a fast-growing startup with many opportunities for growth.  

    Success in the role will require a self-starter and fast learner, with a passion for solving problems and using data to drive meaningful customer engagements. 


    • Validation of AI extraction data

      Required Experience

          Blooma is looking for a Sales Engineer to work closely with Blooma’s sales, customer experience and product teams to help drive success and growth across our customers. The Sales Engineer will understand the key business challenges of our customers, engage with senior business and technology leaders at large enterprises, provide value-based demonstrations, and craft solutions and strategies to make clients more effective and efficient. Our Sales Engineers are tightly aligned with Blooma’s sales team and committed to superior customer service while achieving new client and revenue goals.

          • Help sales sign new clients and expand engagements with existing clients
          • Present Blooma platform to commercial real estate executives and professionals
          • Guide the qualification and discovery process during the sales cycle
          • Understand customer value propositions and define customer success metrics
          • Design solutions to integrate Blooma into customer workflows
          • Support test lending deals and/or paid proof of concepts in Blooma
          • Collaborate with Blooma’s implementation and customer experience teams to ensure client success
          • Deliver product and industry specific feedback from customers and prospects to the Blooma product team
          • Manage customer security reviews and vendor questionnaire responses

          • 4-6+ years of sales engineering experience for a financial technology SaaS company, or relevant commercial real estate lending/investing experience
          • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to executive and technical audiences through demos, decks, and support documentation
          • Strong understanding of commercial real estate ecosystem and workflows
          • Ability to connect client challenges and inefficiencies to Blooma solutions

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to direct product development and ensure high return on investment (ROI.)
